Thanks for your answer. You're right, I meant the game list window. I had tried to use the "Load" button but it crashed Scid. I was starting Scid from a Launcher in Gnome. Now that you told me it *should* work I tried to open Scid from a terminal window, to see if I got some errors. Instead, it
