Interesting... tried starting a blank database and doing this and couldn't
reproduce the problem. I went back to the database I'd first seen it in (games
I'd played on fics that had been autosaved), and it happened again. I'll keep
at it, looking for a pattern.

Seems to have been solved by installing SCID 4.3 (had 4.2.1 with the issue)...
at least so far, I haven't had the keyboard lock issue occur.
