Hi Israel,
I built scid 4.3 as per your valuable instructions at
http://cachivaches.chauca.net/scid/building.html
The make process failed while the source directory didn't contain a
bases directory.
I copied it from my current Scid.app and than the build went fine.
Shouldn't the bases directory
