I tried that, but for some reason SCID4.0 did not copy. I created a new
database and did the drag and drop thing with the original database filtered
to >2200 but the copying did not happen :-(

I had no problems opening the ICOFY databases and compacting it into one
SCID4.0 database. I have not have had the time to work with the resulting
databse yet, but I did look throught the game list window and everything
looked ok. That was on a computer running Ubuntu GNU/Linux, with
What is legal is not necessarily fair (and I doubt exporting comments from
GM is legal).
Even if games are completely cleaned from any added value by CB, I find it
unfair to use someone's else work, when this work is what they are making
their living with.

The idea is nice but there are a few problems :
- right now it does only make sense when "show variations window" is turned
off. Hence it should be better integrated with this : either they are
mutually exclusive or combined
- when going back, the arrows displaying possible vars for current move is
