I can't reproduce it. Has anybody got the same problem ?
I suppose that by "build the opening tree" you mean open the Tree
window ? If so, try to :
- start Scid
- open the base
- open the Tree window (Ctrl-t)
What happens ?

The Scid 4.0 still doesn't work on my laptop, My laptop is installed
Windows XP, Professional, version 2002, Service Pack 3.
The attached is the box display when I start laptop.
When I press OK. the 2 boxes gone.
