You'd need to convert them to PGN and import them into Scid. Some old
version of Fritz (up to V8) in wine can do this job for you. The thing
with CB is that the format is proprietary and undocumented, therefore

No, and it would be illegal to do so. What you get when you buy
proprietary format stuff is the right to be alienated to the company
that sells it to you.

1. Can Scid read CBV eBooks (ChessBase archived format)?
2. Can I make Scid display Slovak characters? Of course, I do not need
Scid menus, help files etc. in Slovak; but it would be great if I could
display comments in pgns in Slovak. I am using Linux.
