Hello again,
Here is the correct procedure, with Scid for Windows, April 2009 :
1. Open Scid
2. Maximize the Main Window
3. Start an analysis engine, choosing Toga
4. Right-click on the "Analysis: Toga" tab and choose "Move to bottom"
Steps 2 can be done after 3-4, with the same result.

Hi Jon,
Actually I didn't maintain scid for Fedora 9 any more. Last scid RPM
package for Fedora 9 is
http://katrine.lpi.ru/kalenkov/fedora/9/i386/scid-3.6.26-2.fc9.i386.rpm
You can try to rebuild source rpm packages (located here -
http://katrine.lpi.ru/kalenkov/fedora/10/SRPMS/) for the Fedora 9
From:
http://katrine.lpi.ru/kalenkov/
But I now see that those RPMs are for Fedora 10.
Do you think that's the problem?

I've installed the RPMs on a Fedora 9 computer, but I keep getting a
segmentation fault when I try to run it.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,

This is strange, since this happens every time I start an engine to
double check a game. I then put the analysis box at the bottom and it
dances.I forgot
Hi,
I synced to the former (but this is of no importance for me).

I can't reproduce it. I suppose between steps 1 and 2, you opened an engine
and the window you refer to is the engine's one ?
My idea is that your configuration (screen size + windows' sizes) makes scid
recalculate indefinitely the layout because it is always at the limit
between two piece sizes.
