"r1b2rk1/1pNnq1b1/1B1p2n1/P2Pp2p/4Pp2/5Pp1/1P2B1PP/R2QNRK1 w - - 0 1" into
3.7.1 and get
is not a valid chess position in FEN notation.
The same string works in 3.6.23.

from a USB and also the pocket version. When I use the tacticts trainer I
get (on both versions) the following error "Sorry, the game appears to be
corrupt". Any suggestions on how to correct it.
Thanks I.Perez

There was two ways to interpret what your wish :
(1) to have the window starting at the beginning of the PGN when it is loaded ;
(2) to have the window always showing the PGN header.
I agree with you about (1). In my last reply, I thought you meant
(2). I brought a reason why I thougth (2) migh

shouldn't an export to Flex/Flash be a good option ?
Personnaly I like this technology, but I will not have time to work on it.

Aquarium has an even better feature : it will display arrows of
various colors showing on the board an engine thinking.
The problem is that arrows are ugly in Scid (at least compared to
Aquarium's ones). And I don't know how to improve that easily (lack of
transparency effects, aliasing).
So I pref
