Hi,
The problem is that for example in material window the right part contains
widgets that have a too important width with your patch. To make those
widgets compact enough requires tuning widget's styles or some important
code rewrite.

I can live with the FICS window as it is, more so with the Console
Filter button. I'll write a tip about that.
There is a problem with the PGN window, though : that may be related
to have multiple games observed at the same time. Only the PGN window
is affected, by the way, I can still
