Well, everything works in 8.4 up to 3.6.26, but you stated that cvs will
soon no longer work on 8.4. Therefore, I'm forced to use 8.5, right?

Could you paste the exact error message you get. I recently fixed a
multiple selection error in tk_getOpenFile
in the 8.5 and 8.6 Tk versions. It's possible that same fix would
back port to 8.3
Please see Bug 1936220 in sourceforge to see if the issue is the same.

Yes, there is a change : I suppose you use Tk 8.5. This function works with
Tk 8.4.
I will look at it.

Did you install a version of Scid by means of FINK or another packaging

You probably know that ICC is virtually identical to FICS and thus any feature
you add for one should be easy to add for the other, but I thought I'd point
that out anyway.

Hi,
I am a scid-newbie.
There seems to be a problem with tkscid program. See this screenshot:

What can I do to get rid of this error?

Hi!
Tools / Import File of PGN games
allows to select multiple files for some time now. Now I did that and
Scid tells me
File
/home/download/PGN/2008/bonn01mp.pgn bonn02mp.pgn bonn03mp.pgn
does not exist.
I just selected them from the list... They do exist. Was there a change
recently?

Guessed that this is not too complex for someone who is "in
the code".

Yep. The collegue I cited mentioned that we "should look at
playchess.de", but well wrapping all commands
Hi,
This is trivial to do but not the only case an UI around FICS commands is
desirable (and the difficulty starts here, with the number).
