I must also add that updating Scid for windows to Tk 8.5 makes it look far
better : pieces set transparency are now correctly handled.

Hello,
I tried to reproduce scid crash and I found out that my system always
crashes using the menu entry repair bases (and than choosing a database).
It doesn't matter if the repaired base is open or not. I didn't get a
crash report by operating system. I use Vista Home Premium.

Phalanx is mandatory (- Removed Crafty engine, as tacgame.tcl does not
need it any longer. So the two mandatory engines for Scid's features are
Toga and Phalanx. Note that any Toga version should work, but only the
patched version of Phalanx works.)
