Hello Alexander,
that indicator shows a value passed back by the engine.
Not all engines compile that value, try the free Toga or Fruit and let
me know, they work for me.

time regardless of the real CPU load, which is at 100% anyway, if the
engine runs. Or do I missunderstand what it should show?

As to the translating the parameters between native 64-bit and emulated
32-bit modes it should be correctly handled by the Linux kernel...
