Hello,
Just to make things clear, I'm not really implementing the ability to
drag & drop a file on a Scid's window to open it (D&D). I'm opening
files by double click or dropping the file on Scid's icon as you
describe it (my D&D).
Sorry if I mislead you on this, but it never occurred to me
Hi,
The problem I had was fixed following the suggestions of Pascal and
it's coming along just fine, there is some work pending, but it looks
good.
In Mac the procedure ::tk::mac::OpenDocument is called when a D&D or
double click on a file occurs, so I only have to implement it and do

Do you see a way to enable this in a "general manner" ie. independend of
the platform in question? I'd be willing to test on Unix and admit that
I'd really appreciate if scid could learn D&D. This would allow for more

Hello Pascal,
My Palm OS PDA finally failed on me. I purchased a Nokia N810 as a replacement.
How difficult would it be to port the latest scid to this platform? I am not
asking you to do this (although if you did, that would be great). I am
interested in trying to learn how to do this myself.
Hi,
You need to install tcl-devel and tk-devel packages.

Hi,
I downloaded the tar.bz2 file from the scid site, cd to the scid directory and
ran ./configure.
However it didn't work. This is what i get:
configure: Makefile configuration program for Scid
Renaming "Makefile" to "Makefile.bak"
Tcl/Tk version: 8.4

Hi,
Given there are 38 entries in changelog, I uploaded a release candidate,
available at Sourceforge.

* automatic switch to clipbase
* trainer window made easier to understand
- Removed Crafty engine, as tacgame.tcl does not need it any longer. So
