Hello Garth,
Would it be possible and easy to create and maintain a .dmg for OSX users ?
This would be very interesting to improve Scid user base.
If it's so easy that even I can do it, I'd certainly do that.

I played a few minutes with Polyglot and configured Toga 1.2.1a to be
handled as a xboard engine. In this position
r7/p1p2pk1/1p6/4qpp1/2PP4/P3R3/2P3PP/6K1 w KQkq - 0 1
where the queen must be recaptured (!) I get this output :
Depth: 12 Nodes: 9106K (765 kn/s)
Score: -99.88

Hi!
First of all: the FICS search graph is a pretty good idea.
Some points though:
- Clicking Offers and logging off:
-> scid is unable to log on again, plus, the offers
checkbox stays depressed, ie. scid sends a "sought" all
the time.
This is only the case if the search graph is sw

Why? If someone prefers dark colouring for the board squares
(s)he will prefer Merida 2. On the other hand some people do
not like the thin white border at all, those would prefer

Hi all,
I apologize if this posting is a bit long but I hope you'll bear with
me.
I have a few questions and comments regarding scid on OS X. First a
bit of background. I'm recently back to trying to use scid on OS X
after a very long time away. I had tried it out back in mid 2002 when
Hi,
I commited in CVS new piece sets for Merida1, Merida2 and Fantasy. The
result is as good as in chessx, for example.
I think one of Merida1 and Merida2 should be removed, but I can't make up my
mind.
