Hello Pascal, I did some diging on my scid installation on my Mac OS X system. I found I had both versions 3.6.14 and 3.6.15 installed. The error referred to below occurred in the 3.6.14 version. Scid 3.6.15 handles the games with long comments perfectly. I apologize for wasting your time
