i can't get this piece of code to work. it's supposed to
email root whenever non-authorized connections are detected.

why not do "rpm -i filename.rpm"? i find it to be much
reliable. the only time i ever use glint is for uninstalling
packages w/c "rpm -e" often fails at, for some reason.
