My question is can this be done? I am using RH9 and X-CD Roast to burn
files
on a CD-Rom. But I want to use a CD that I previously used and add more
files to it. I could do this using Roxio on window's XP and I was wondering

I have a really odd problem with a Dell GX300 and RH73.
Modprobe runs at what seems to be random times and goes into some sort of loop. It
can't be killed and uses up almost all of the cpu. There are no errors and nothing in
the logs that look like they would have anything to do with modprobe.

Create a directory on the windows system and share it. Mount the
windows share onto the Linux system. Now you can rsync.
Here is how to mount a windows share:
/bin/mount -t smbfs -o username=,password
You can add your credentials to the 4th field of the /etc/fstab file like
this...
//server/share /mnt/smb smbfs username=admin,password=secret 0 0
Sorry for using the wrong slashes in the earlier post.

sendmail server using "LOGIN" against the server's local user accounts,
(/etc/passwd and shadow).
However I have NOT been able to get it to authenticate using DIGEST-MD5
against the sasldb.

du -hs /var/spool/imap/$username | awk '{print $1}'
however, username is (say) joe.user.example.com but the directory is
joe^user^example^com
Any sed or awk experts help me do this in one line? The output is
