Hi, with reference to RH 6.1 I'm sure there is a way to turn the CD automounter off - this dispensing with the cd busy messages when a cd isn't in the tray. Does anyone know what it is ? Secondly, I've installed egcs and egcs-c++ in the hope of obtaining a cc or CC compiler. rpm -qlp
