All,
I would like to enable detailed logging for:
- DNS requests & replies
- tftp requests & replies
I would like to setup the log messages to the /var/log/messages file or
a independent log files in /var/log directory
Any tips or links would be appreciated?

I am getting frustrated. I have just done a clean install of RH7.2. I
was using 6.2 and made the leap.
I am unable to get ftpd and tftpd to work. I am missing something basic.
I figured out it is now xinetd which is controlling the process. and I
need to modify xinetd.conf. Unfortunately

Why should I change something in inetd.conf? Redhat 7 does not use inetd
anymore but xinetd. xinetd has it's own config files and there the directory
is set.
As far as I could find out until now this seems to be a problem with the
tftpd-0.17-5.i386.rpm (see Redhats Bugzilla Bug #18128).
5 rights and changed all files

I've recently installed RH7, and downloaded/installed the tftp-server rpm
file.
I have found, however, that the same problem occurs on a system running a
fairly stock RH 6.1 installation.
I have (I believe) the tftp file in /etc/xinetd.d set up correctly, with
/tftpboot as the directory to us

Hello folks,
I've got Redhat-5.0 and have been looking for a BSD tftpd on
my cd and in contrib this eve to no avail. I find the _manual page_,
but not the actual software. Checking Sunsite I found an old tftpd,
but the binary is much too old to run (libc4), and it seems
