In your XF86Config set mouse type to "Auto". Must have 3.3.2 - won't work in 3.3.1.

I can find out how to set up the middle mouse button/wheel thing under RH
5.0/Xfree86 to be as the middle button? Right now even with the emulate
3rd button turned off the middle button doesn't do anything.
