Rather than delete teh D partition, why not just shrink it (you can use a
bootable parted disk, or you might be able to shrink it from the Windows
disk administration tool)?

So, I plug in the network cable to the NIC (the notebook worked just fine
on the network before I hosed lilo), reboot using the pcmcia.img flop
Subject says it all.. The card is supported by pcmcia and the Redhat 6.1
install, but not by the install images for redhat 6.0. For serveral reasons
I don't want to install 6.1.. My question is "does anyone know of a way to
add new drivers to the RH 6.0 pcmcia disk?"

I have an Acer Extensa 500DX I am trying to install linux on. The
installation all goes fine up until I reboot. As soon as the system reboots
I get a stack dump to screen and all activity stops. I have re-partitioned
the drive, run fdisk /mbr numerous times and nothing has changed.
