lost+found..

Hi, By mistake my machine rebooted and as a result I lost some files...Now as fsck did the recovery process..it put them in the lost+found dir..Now there all I se is some junkydata..Is there any chance I can view what is put there..?? If not what is the use of that directory? Thx,, Arni -- To

First: I mount my ZIP disk to /mnt/zip. On the disk itself there is a directory called "hrdi", which contains about 500 data files with names like "nc_1034_v1_2.nc". I just noticed a lost+found directory in there called "/mnt/zip/hrdi/lost+found.nc". There is no
