install the pptp client for linux (see the PopTop site at

that would work with close to any VPN server ? Prefer a free one over a
pay commercial one. :-)
Any pointers ? I see some from Cisco but have no clue whether it is
something for Cisco ones only or will work
Most VPN clients are free. In most cases, the client will only work
with their server. i.e. Cisco VPN clients will work with their server.
