Your box may have been broken into. I've seen this happen in one case when the rooted box had the console type changed. In this case, the terminal type was changed to dumb. Try typing: echo $TERM and see if you get a different result on the server with the problem. I hope I'm wrong. Fred

We're planning on locating a Redhat machine offsite along with a bunch of Suns connected via their serial ports to a terminal server so we can remotely gain access to their consoles. What's the best way to set up the linux machine? I know in lilo.conf you can put "serial=0,9600" to have lilo be ac
