it doesnt respond to an eject that i know of. is the disk an ext2
partition or fat32? if its fat32 you need to edit the /etc/fs

yes. i have one in my laptop, although they havent been usable in the
install, except for booting in to the install. you can edit the
/etc/fstab and change the device for the floppy from /dev/fd0 to
/dev/hda or wha
