I think all you'll have to do is upgrade windoze, change the active
partition if necesare with fdisk since windoze sets its own partition to
active, andthen boot linux with a boot disk and run /sbin/lilo.

If you have a boot disk for Linux already, you should be able to install
Win2K and then boot to the disk and rerun /sbin/lilo as root and that should
fix the boot record.
