A freind of mine just setup and Athlon 950 with 100Gig Kernel Raid0 (3 IDE
disks) using Redhat 6.2. Im not sure if you can push 290+ gig but I can say
100Gig will work. Works great for him.

Storage for user homepages. 100meg disk quota each. And as my original
mesasge stated, I'm using hardware RAID (IBM ServeRAID 4L Ultra160
SCSI) I'm not that crazy :)

There is a path availible for the 2GB limit but I don't know where it is.

290GB partition? eek.. well at least RAID makes it somewhat fault tollerant,
I guess. What on earth would you do with such a partition.. other than serve
up shell accounts.. whatever you do, use disk quotas :)
