EVEN IF u do a reinstall ftp and telnet won't start up on its own
you have to enable the service from /etc/xinetd.d/telnet and cp telnet to
ftp and
configure the ftp service by removing intelnet.d in ftp file as by default
there is no ftp file and telnet is disabled.

sounds like you need to load the drivers for the scsi. In the initail
install you need to specify that you have a driver disk.
Find out what type and make of scsi you have -- dig the the rh manual
for instructions.

A couple of shots in the dark: some RH7.2 installs worked only with "mem=64m"
on systems with 128m of memory because some of it was shared with the
graphics card. You might try "mem=32m"
At least one install problem was solved by disabling power management in the
bios.
