Thanks Bret I have checked the /etc/ssh/sshd_config for X11Forwarding yesand X11DisplayOffset 10 and they exist. How do I set the dispaly variable as you have mentioned below. You are right I can start an x session on the console real easy. I didn't know this was happening until I canned X on the
