The only real difference is that ext3 is a journaled filesystem, ext2 is
not. What does that mean? For joe-user, it mostly just means less wait
time at bootup after, say, a syste

manually at the site, rather than try something from 'afar'.
That could lead to troubles so I will wait until I can have someone at the
