That is a un-registered subnet, anyone can use it.

That IP address is assigned by Linksys, not @home or
Cox.

You have the same setup I do. The router has the IP assigned by @home, probably
by DHCP. You choose a different (198.128.1.x) ip address for one of your boxes,
and a different one for the other---making sure neither duplicates the IP
assigned to the router. The IP addresses of 192.168.1.x were
