I do have to say that after toying with the 3c905B-TX for a month or so, I
have finally gotten it to work quite well. Of course it took kernel 2.0.34
and Donald Becker's newest code: 3c59x.c:v0.99E 5/12/98 to get it to work.
But now the 3Com is just cruising along, transferring about 20 G
The 3C905B-TX has a different chipset on it than the 3C905-TX
does, consequently making 4.2 and 5.0's drivers both incompatible. I
haven't tried 5.1 yet, so I have no idea if it has the new driver or not.
Anyhow, you can still get the card working by getting Donald Becker's
newest 3c59x.c
