Folks, I was trying to install the "Phoebe" rpms last night, using Apt and Synaptic, and being extremely concious of wierd cross-dependencies, thought I was doing fine. But at one point apt and synaptic quit working properly, though I stayed completelty away from u.g.'ing them and
