I have done ipx_configure and I do see the correct network address but
slist still gives me an error.
error is 0x8847 in ncp_open, server not found. The novel version is
4.1 not 5 as I originally stated.

Hi, Yep I am sure it is running IPX I get the correct network address
with ipx_network. Also I use windows 98 with IPX to access it
with no problems. It is not using TCP/IP .

simply cannot find the server with slist.
I have done all the correct things:
ipx_interface add -p eth0 802.2
when I check the IPX network address it is correct.
However when I do an slist :
