as per the redhat list, this is caused by a previous helix install. check your /usr/lib/libzvt.so.2, what it points at. after my helix install some time ago, i had the 2.2.10 shared lib sitting around, the symlink wasn't getting upgraded even with the forced rpm reinstall of latest gnome-libs.

Hi, so this is probably just a testiment of what not to do on your server... I wanted to run GNOME (actually X Windows) to be able to use the process monitor with the dual cpu information. Anyhow, I started startx and GNOME started and loaded and displayed my desktop and just sits there, nothing.
