For Java: You'll need to create a symlink in your /home//.mozilla/plugins directory to /usr/java/j2re1.4.1_01/plugin/i386/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji.so If the plugins directory doesn't exist for some reason, create it. You'll want to link other plugins there as well, like flash etc.. Additi

I think that the problem with Java 1.4.x is that it used GCC 2.95(or something like that), but Mozilla-1.3b was built using the new version of GCC (3.x or something). So the only way you are going to get java to work with Mozilla-1.3b is to build Java with the same GCC, or wait for SUN to put one o

Dear fellow users, I can't get the JRE version 1.4.1_01 to work on Mozilla 1.3b. When I try to access a site with java applets Mozilla simply exits. JRE 1.3.1_07 works. Any ideas? Furthermore I can't get Acrobat Reader 5.0.6 to work either, the program won't start. Again an older version like 4.05
