If the plugins directory doesn't exist for some reason, create it.
You'll want to link other plugins there as well, like flash etc..

I think that the problem with Java 1.4.x is that it used GCC 2.95(or
something like that), but Mozilla-1.3b was built using the new version
of GCC (3.x or something). So the only way you are going to get java to
work with Mozilla-1.3b is to build Java with the same GCC, or wait for
SUN to put one o
