No it won't. gtk+ is not backward-compatible with the gtk they used to
make the rh5.0 control-panel (and a couple of other admin tools too),

is it because i have overwritten the old GTK-1.0.0 lib (from redhat
distro)
note that i've also removed the old XPM library with new libXpm.so.4.11
does it have any effect to this prob
