UPnP is essentially a network discovery protocol. Applications can post
request for services on the network and the service should respond
That just means that the person she is exchanging files with has a public
address and goes right along with my explanation. The person sending here a
file actually tells her MSN client to pull the file from the sending PC.
This MS technote explains it quite well.

I've tried on iptables many a times, but have never gotten in to work.
