I am trying to setup a Banksia SP56 modem for use on my RedHat 6.2 linux system as a PPP dial in for my ISP. Using the RedHat "Dialup Configuration Tool", it is unable to find the modem. However, when using "minicom" the modem is accessed and can operate on /dev/modem OK. I have a link from
