We use smb to make the linux box look like a windows box. But I also connect using rdp. rdp lets you connect as a thin client to a windows server and gives you ms windows in your X11. There are a few problems but not that makes me go back to having ms as my os. Rick On Wed, 2003-02-05 at 23:13

Krishna, What kind of server? Assuming one of the most asked questions I'll take a wild guess at "smb." If I'm correct, take a look at 'man smbclient' to see if it fits the bill. If I'm not correct, you'll have to fill us in a little more concerning what you want to do. Regards, Mike Klink
