I use cdrw's only and I can fit the install image on 1 cd and the app cd on

my understanding is that a formatted cd-RW disk will not
hold anywhere near 650 MB of data. more like 500 MB if i recall correctly.

OK. Those are useable sizes: 678203392/(1024*1024)=646.7851563 MB (using
real megabyte figures, not what ram and harddrive sellers use).
And, if you have 650MB CD-RWs (also use real numbers AFAIK) then
something else is going wrong.

Something may be wrong with the sizes of the ISOs. I downloaded them and
burned them onto ordinary, cheapo (.19) CDRs without a problem. I

I dont think so, I burned mine to normal 650mb disks.I did not do it from
the command line though, xcdroast : )
