new RAM (different brand)
This may sound stupid, but what kind of mouse are you using? I went
nuts with a Logitech Optical Wheelmouse plugged into the PS/2 port, it
seemed to work but caused all sorts of strange problems, e.g., ethernet
stopped working, intermittently. I am able to duplicate this problem

Can anybody suggest what could be the problem? Also can anybody let me know
how to completely re-install network related modules (like eth, ppp) from

Hi,
Recently I installed RH 8.0 on a P4 machine with 512 MB Ram. I have dual boot enabled, with win98 as the other OS.
I have not installed any other packages other than those shipped with RH 8.0.
I use my Linux Box primaryly as a Internet Gateway. I have set up iptables using standard, normal, sim
in my situation.
Like I said I don't have your setup but it is worth a shot.

Instead of creating apage just to load the picture, why not include the
picture as
www.webmonkey.com for all your HTML reference purposes!
Other HTML tutorials available elsewhere will also point you in the right

Please don't ask this on an Apache list.
It is in no way Apache specific. This is normal HTTP/HMTL behavior, and if
you want to override it you have to do some stupid JavaScript tricks. You
might also be able to fix it with some silly CGI or by pre-caching the
image on a previous page, but again
