I was searching on module-info creation too.
After customizing a kernel for RH7.3 a new custom /boot/module-info
files was missing. I guess it is installed automatically after
installing a new kernel-package but it also can be created manually
with modinfo as part of anaconda. Creating a

file is and what it's meant to do.
