I installed RH 5.0 with anonymous ftp server.
The problem is now that I'd only want to give access to REAL users but
when I edit ftpaccess -file deleting the anonymous from class
specification I can't login as a real user anymore.
I have been using the hosts.deny and hosts.allow lists for restri
I accidentaly used ftpshut to shut down my ftp-server...
I issued the following command:
./ftpshut now
Now after reboot my ftp services are not coming up again. How I can
start my ftp services again? When people try to login ftp just says
server shut down - please try again later.

I have tried several times to limit simultanious ftp-users to my site
putting in the ftpaccess -file following:
limit all 100
Am I missing some parameters? ftpwho program still reports:
Service class all:
110 users ( -1 maximum)
