hi: i have one daemon under /etc/rc.d/init.d. it starts fine manually, but it doesn't start whne the system reboots. i used "chkconfig --add xd" and it still could not start automatically. if the d script was wrong, then it should not have been able to start manually. so the script should

strange problem for apache

hi: when i accidently deleted a rpm package with cmd "rm" instead of "rpm -e" (the package was installed via cmd "rpm -iv), how could I clean up the rest of rpm thing? since now rpm refuses to reinstall that package and claims the packages had been installed. where is the log file for rpm to track
