How do I convert a DOS file to a UNIX file?

grainy netscape graphics

hi folks, just installed redhat6.1 on my ThinkPad 600e, selecting the detected NeoMagic chipset w/ 1024x768 LCD display option @ 16bpp. x looks great w/ gnome, however any graphics under netscape 4.61 are very grainy and i occassionally get default colour map errors on selected sites. checked m
