Some of the boards have a couple of jumpers---optional setting and a board layout
who you know what connects to which connector. For instance, some of the boards
have three connectors for the CD drive audio. Docs can save you time poping the
cover to reseat a connector plugged into the wrong pla
No fancy box nor written manual. The board is the same as far as I can tell.
Usually comes shrink wrapped with a CD or floppy for the drivers and SB software.

Nope. Just plain ol' Sound Blaster 16 PnP for a PCI slot. It was being sold for
about US$29 as I remember. A local independent dealer sells the OEM version for
US$14.95.

SB16 PnP is available in PCI form. Micro-tek and Comp-USA had tons of them over
Christmas.

I see that RH has discontinued their High Availability Server. I had just sold
my bosses the idea of using Linux and the HA instead of a $15K Suns and a $15K
load balancers---then RH pulls the rug out from under me.
Six months of work down the drain. Anyone know why?
