Whats Up
I just installed snort-1.9.1 on my firewall machine. Here is my network
setup
Internet>Firewall(snort)-->LAN(2 windows 2000 'puter)
Firewall=Redhat7.3(2.4.20)running "IPTABLES default policy set to DROP" also
a DNS server for my LAN.
eth0=Internet IP(111.111.111.111) Chnages so

I have Bind9 and the snort 1.9.1 running on my Linux 7.3 machine. But these
2 programs running are filling up my /var/log/messages and my TRIPWIRE
reports logs. here is an example of what im talking about:I get these

I am running RedHat 7.3 and Gnome. On an old 'puter. I have the resolution
to the highest settings my moniter can handle "14inch". I installed nessus
2.0.1, but when i run it, the screen comes up but it is 3 quaters cut off at
the bottom i cant see the buttons near the bottom, even

Im running Redhat 7.3 and Gnome with Kernel 2.4.20 but lately i noticed some
of my features havent been displaying on the desktop. It started by the
REDHAT UPDATE CHECKING thing disapperearing and then my whole task bar at
the bottom dissapperead i was wandering if i should re-instal

Ok i have snort working and logging on my LINUX machine192.168.0.1. They are
alerts in /var/log/snort/alerts and portscan.And when i start snort it shows
it connects to database 192.168.0.69 completed succefully. I have it setup
soo it is suppose to log to my WINDOWS machine192.168.0.69 r
