Hi all.
I tried to install RedHat 7.2 in a Pentium IV 1.8 Ghz with Adaptec Hardware
RAID 2110s controler and three SCSI disks using RAID 5. After rebooting I
got a kernel panic when it was mounting file systems:
Partition check:
i2o/hda: i2o/hda1 i2o/hda2 i2o/hda3 i2o/hda4 < i2o/hda5 >
i2o_bloc
I've resolved it. Some colleague say me to configure samba to access Wins
service from the NT server.
Iago.

We have a NT network with an NT 4.0 server and I want to access names of the
NT computers from a linux computer.
The NT 4.0 server doesn't have the dns service active and I doesn't want to
active it because we prefer to use the dns from our ADSL connection. The NT
server assigns IP's with

I use RedHat 9 in a dual machine Pentium III 1000 GHz with kernel
2.4.20-18.9smp. Also I have three SCSI disks, the last two in RAID-0.
Any idea?

Hi all.
When I access a RedHat 9 server with ssh shows spanish messages replacing
accents with rare characters.
Example: núcleo -> núcleo
NOTE: The server has spanish as default language.
